BoilerConsultant.ca is a strategy consulting service for owners of boiler, hydronic and combi-boiler companies across Canada. It focuses on the business decisions specific to boiler work: how to stand apart from generalist HVAC shops, how to earn steady money from servicing, how to handle parts and emergencies, and how to build enough technician depth to grow. It is Canadian, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies.
Why a boiler-only strategy service exists
The short version: boiler companies kept asking questions general HVAC advice didn't answer. Over years of building websites and marketing for heating businesses, Ali Sedighi noticed that boiler and hydronic owners faced a different set of problems from furnace and air-conditioning companies.
Their market is smaller and more technical. Their customers are loyal but harder to find. Their technicians are scarce and hard to replace. Their parts can take days to arrive. And the programs and fuel mix that shape demand vary enormously from province to province. BoilerConsultant.ca brings those questions into one place, with a single advisor who has worked on boiler businesses directly.
Ali Sedighi, MBA
Ali Sedighi holds an MBA in Technology Management and has 17+ years of experience in marketing and business growth. That experience began in 2007, when he founded ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Beyond heating, he founded Conv.ca, which works on conversion-rate optimisation, and MyAutomation.ca. At SAZ.ca, the group's Canadian strategy and revenue firm, he is Founder and Managing Partner. His clients have included businesses in Canada, the USA and Dubai.
In heating specifically, Ali has built 150+ live HVAC websites. Many sites in that portfolio are boiler businesses, including:
- CombiBoiler.ca, a combi-boiler business that reached 300% ROI and produces 300+ monthly leads
- GasBoilers.ca, a gas-boiler division built for CANRO Heat across 26+ BC communities
- BoilerPart.ca, a boiler parts catalogue with 2,000+ programmatic pages
- vancouverboilers.ca, burnabyboiler.ca, emergencyboiler.ca and boiler-maintenance.ca, whose names describe local boiler service, emergency and maintenance work
That's where the advice on this site comes from: real boiler businesses, their search demand, their service programs and their emergency calls. The results page explains what the main projects show.
How we work
Every engagement follows the same pattern:
- You describe the decision. A short message explaining what you're weighing, your province and your rough revenue split.
- Ali replies with a written scope. It explains what the work will cover, which figures to gather and what it costs. Nothing begins until you agree.
- The work uses your numbers. Job history, service list, technician hours and pricing, not industry averages.
- You receive written decisions and next steps. Clear priorities in the order Ali would tackle them.
Engagements run in person or by video call, phone, text, email and shared documents, which keeps the work equally accessible from Victoria to St. John's. If you then want the marketing carried out, the HVAC.Agency team handles execution under a separate plan, described on the pricing page.
Where we sit in the group
Sedighi.ca is the consulting company through which Ali runs his growth, marketing and technology work, and HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, Trades.Agency, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca all sit under it. SAZ.ca, short for Strategy & Acceleration Zone, focuses on strategy, AI and revenue acceleration, and Sedighi.ca guides its direction. BoilerConsultant.ca draws on both: the HVAC marketing experience of the first and the strategy discipline of the second.
For owners who reach the point of selling or planning succession, the group also advises on valuation, exit readiness and deal structure through Sedighi.ca and BizSell.ca, its business-sale and exit brand. That's a separate conversation, and it never includes legal or securities advice.
What we are not
BoilerConsultant.ca is not a contractor. We don't install, repair, service or inspect boilers or any other equipment, and we never send anyone to a home or building. What you get from us is business and marketing consulting, never engineering, mechanical design, inspection or code-compliance services.
We also don't promise results. We'll show you real outcomes from boiler projects Ali built and help you make clearer decisions, but what happens next depends on your market, your team and how the plan is carried out. If a question belongs with a provincial safety authority, an accountant or a lawyer, we'll say so.
Working with owners across Canada
Boiler demand looks very different in Halifax, Saskatoon, Montréal and Vancouver, and so do the regulators and programs. The areas section summarises the market in every province and territory. To start a conversation, visit the contact page. Call, text or email; you'll be speaking with Ali.
Frequently asked questions
Who will I actually work with?
Ali Sedighi. He leads every BoilerConsultant.ca engagement himself. If you later want marketing carried out, the execution team at HVAC.Agency handles that work under a separate plan.
Is BoilerConsultant.ca a separate company?
It's a brand within the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, which is Canadian and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. Sedighi.ca is Ali's growth, marketing and technology consulting company.
Does Ali have hands-on boiler trade experience?
No, and he doesn't claim it. His expertise is the business side: marketing, positioning, pricing logic, service programs and growth planning. Technical and regulatory questions belong with licensed trades and provincial safety authorities.
Do you meet clients in person?
Yes. Ali consults in person or by video call, and engagements also run by phone, text, email and shared documents for owners in every province and territory.
