Tell us the basics

The fastest way to a useful reply
A short message with the right details gets a far more useful reply than a long one without them. Try to include:
- Your province or territory, and the towns or cities you serve
- The decision you're weighing, in one or two sentences
- Your rough revenue split between boiler installs, servicing, parts and emergency calls
- How many technicians can work on a boiler without supervision
- Your current number of service or maintenance customers, even an estimate
If you don't track some of those figures, say so. That's useful information too, and it often shapes where an engagement starts.
A template you can copy
If it helps, adapt this to your own situation:
Hi Ali, I run [Business name], a boiler and hydronic company in [City, Province]. We have [number] techs who can work on boilers unsupervised and about [number] maintenance customers. Roughly [percentage] of our revenue comes from installs and [percentage] from service. The decision I'm weighing is [one or two sentences]. Can we talk about whether an engagement would help?
Send it by text or email, or use it as notes for a call.
What happens next
- Ali reads your message and replies, usually within one business day, with any questions he needs answered.
- If an engagement looks useful, he sends a written scope: what it covers, what to prepare and what it costs.
- You decide. Nothing starts until you've agreed in writing.
- The work begins in person or by video call, phone, text, email and shared documents, using your own figures.
If Ali thinks you don't need an engagement, or that someone else would serve you better, he'll tell you. Consultations can be in person or by video call.
Before you contact us
It may help to skim a few pages first:
- The services page explains the five strategy areas.
- The results page covers the boiler projects behind the advice.
- The pricing page explains how engagements are quoted and lists HVAC.Agency's published plans.
- The guides include worked examples on maintenance pricing and winter capacity.
None of that is required. If you'd rather just ask, ask.
What we can't help with
We're not a contractor and don't install, repair, service or inspect equipment. If you're a homeowner with a boiler problem, please contact a licensed heating contractor in your area. If your question is about licensing, permits or code, your provincial safety authority is the right contact; the areas pages link the ones we've verified.
BoilerConsultant.ca is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, run from Vancouver, British Columbia, and serving boiler owners across Canada.
Calling versus writing
A short call works well when you want to describe a situation and hear quickly whether an engagement makes sense. Writing works better when you want to include figures or think through your question first. Either is fine, and you can switch at any time: many owners text a first question from the truck and send numbers by email that evening.
If you call and Ali can't pick up, leave a short message with your name, company and province, and he'll return the call. If you text, include your company name so he knows who's writing. A short text is enough; Ali takes it from there.
For owners outside British Columbia
Ali works with boiler company owners in every province and territory. Being based in Vancouver doesn't change how an engagement runs: the conversations happen in person or by video call, phone, text and email, and the work uses your figures and your region's context. If you're in Atlantic Canada or Ontario, it helps to mention a good time of day in your message, since Pacific hours start later than yours.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly will I hear back?
We usually reply within one business day. Hours are Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific, so a message sent on a Friday evening will normally get an answer the following week.
Is the first conversation free?
Sending a message and getting Ali's view on whether an engagement makes sense doesn't commit you to anything. For marketing plans, HVAC.Agency offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card.
Should I call, text or email?
Whatever suits you. Text is handy from a job site, email works well if you want to attach figures, and a call is quickest if you'd rather talk it through.
Can I share financial figures?
You can share rough figures in your first message, and more detail once you've agreed to an engagement. Only send what you're comfortable with; ranges are fine at the start.
Will you add me to a marketing list?
No. We reply to the person who contacted us, and that's all.
